What you put in your mouth first thing in the morning can determine if your cells receive a message to burn fat or store fat for the day.
Within the first 30 minutes of waking up, putting something sweet in your mouth can cause your body to be in a fat storing mode all day long. Popping in common breakfast foods like donuts, sweetened cereal, or white toast with a chocolate hazelnut spread can give your cells the message to store fat for the day. However, low glycemic food like eggs, apples, oranges, grapefruits, or strawberries do not raise your blood sugar levels, which in turn keep insulin levels lower, so fat storage is minimal or non-existent, and fat burning is at a maximum.
Not only should you be aware of your food, have you ever look on your toothpaste label? I am guessing that teeth brushing is one of the first things
most of you do after waking up. If you bought that toothpaste in the store and it has lots of foamy sweetness and flavor, you can bet it is loaded with sugar. Even though you are not supposed to be “eating” it, as you brush your teeth and the toothpaste is in your mouth, be assured it is be absorbed into the lining of your mouth and then into your bloodstream. Under the tongue is one of the places that substances travel quickest to the blood stream, that is why homeopathic remedies are put there and held under the tongue.  Well if that is the place for the good stuff to get in, that is also where the not-so-good stuff will get in also. So start your day off great- no sugar, and let me clarify that no sugar doesn’t mean sugar-free junk either.
We love using Young Living’s toothpaste and drinking Boresha’s NuvoGene and B-Skinny Coffee. That works for us. Look at your labels and find what works for you. Even one change can make a big difference. Your health journey continues with each single step.
